Shirley and Dave Marcroft  are our Pastors .  Both are NH natives: Shirley is from Laconia and Dave is from Ashland.  They met in college at the University of New Hampshire and were married after graduating.  After living throughout the US while Dave served in the Air Force for 10 years, they returned to live in NH.  They have 3 married daughters and 7 grandchildren.

Shirley and Dave previously had careers as software engineers in the computer industry.  Then God called them to serve in ministry.  Shirley is an ordained pastor with the American Baptist Churches – USA and has served as pastor at churches in central and northern NH.  She studied for the ministry at Bethel Seminary.  Dave is a licensed pastor.  

In 2001 Shirley and Dave founded New Life Church of the White Mountains as a new church for the American Baptist Churches.  Shirley serves full time as pastor of New Life.  Dave serves the church part-time and works full-time as a nurse at Hillside Medical Center (part of Lakes Region General Hospital) in Gilford, NH.

Both Shirley and Dave founded Mountain View Christian Communications. This ministry provided Christian radio to the Plymouth, NH area.  The station is now owned by WVNH-FM and is heard on 91.1 FM and 96.9 FM.

Shirley serves as Chaplain for the New Hampshire State Police, the Ashland Fire Dept, and the Campton-Thornton Fire Dept. She is an Emergency Medical Responder with the Ashland Fire Dept. Statewide, she provides help as a member of the Granite State Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM), the NH Suicide Prevention Council, and the NH Disaster Behavioral Health Response Team (DBHRT).
