Pursuing Proactive Parenting is designed to equip you for parenting in today's world. This conference is hosted by Scott and Rachel Foreman and is free of charge. (Childcare is not provided.)

 

October 4th & 5th Sessions: 

Friday (7:00pm-9:00pm) Parents of Tweens and Teens

Building Foundations, Bridges, and Walls

- Understand the spiritual priorities that parents should set for their teens.

- Understand the importance of prioritizing time and shepherding.

- Understand the proactive approach to tackling purity.

Saturday (10AM-2:30PM) lunch provided, donations accepted

Session 1 (10am): God’s Blueprint for the Home

- Understand God's desire for grace and the gospel in the home.

- Understand God's blueprint for authority, structure, and priorities in the home.

- Understand God's idea of the successful obedience of children.

Session 2 (11am): Understanding Authority & Influence, and Training Our Kids

- Understand the phases of authority and influence.

- Know the 5 principles for effective training.

- Know the 5 areas of expression to apply the training principles.

Lunch (12-12:50pm)

Session 3 (1pm-1:50pm) Managing Conflict and Discipline

- Understand the Parenting Conflict Slope and its applicaion to everyday life.

- Understand why the Bible teaches spanking, and how to do it effectively.

- Understand the importance of focusing 90% of your time on training and 10% on disciplining.
